My name is Luke Korkowski, and I am the owner of and sole attorney in my firm, Korkowski Law, LLC. In case you want to know where I came from or what I have done, here it is:

I grew up mostly in Houston, Texas (with forays to Illinois and Alaska) and completed my undergraduate studies in Religion at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. While at Baylor, in addition to reading about religion, I minored in Classics (the study of Ancient Greek and Latin), studied abroad in Spain and Italy, and convinced an otherwise bright woman to marry me. From Waco, my bride and I moved on to Fort Worth, Texas, where I obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University.

Upon my release from business school, my wife and I moved to Colorado, where I pursued a career as an investment advisor in the Denver metro area. It went well, but I frankly found myself a bit too bored. So, I decided to go to law school, but this time I headed out East to Washington, DC, where I studied law at The George Washington University Law School. While attending law school, I completed an internship in the Sex Offense/Domestic Violence division of the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia, and I represented indigent criminal defendants in Superior Court in the District. I also managed to make it out to Helena, Montana, for a summer and work as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Justice Jim Rice of the Montana Supreme Court.

After graduation, I went back to Montana to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk to Justice Rice for one year, drafting over thirty opinions on a variety of legal topics during my tenure there. Working for Justice Rice was one of the most profitable professional experiences I could have had, and I am deeply thankful that he let me hang around for a year and tell Montanans what their law says.

Montana was nice, but Colorado really felt like home, so we headed down to the prettiest part of it. I opened my law practice in Crested Butte and have been enjoying every bit of it.

In case you were wondering, I am licensed to practice law in Colorado (attorney number 037097), and I am a member of the Colorado Bar Association. Also, I have two small children that crack me up.

I'm the one on the right.
