The classic estate plan addresses the needs of the majority of people. It will ensure that your assets are properly transferred upon your death, that your health care and financial wishes are respected, that your remains are properly disposed of, and that your minor children are cared for.

The classic estate plan includes the following documents:

  • Will, including a contingent trust for minor children (if applicable). A contingent trust takes effect upon your death and appoints a trustee to manage your assets on behalf of any minor children you leave behind. Your Will also includes the appointment of a guardian for your minor children, your instructions regarding the disposition of your last remains, and your wishes with respect to organ donation.

  • Health Care Power of Attorney.

  • Financial Power of Attorney.

  • Declaration as to Medical or Surgical Treatment (Living Will).

  • Declaration of Anatomical Gift.

The flat fee for the classic estate plan is $495 for one person and $795 for a couple. Each flat fee is based on a particular number of hours set aside for drafting that plan. If, due to unique circumstances, your plan exceeds that number hours, you may be charged a fee based on my current hourly rate for the excess time. However, to date, no plan has exceeded the allotted time.

Plans and prices are subject to change at any time without notice.
